Der kleine Rabe Socke
Ute von Münchow-Pohl, Jesse Sandor
The little Rabe Socke is a likable troublemaker - indeed he is full of mischief but actually quite sweet-natured. When he accidentally damages the big dam whilst playing, the lake threatens to flood the forest where Socke and many other animals are living. Fearing punishment from Frau Dachs, who calls the shots in the woods, Socke is trying to bring his mishap back in order. Help comes from his friends, the strong Eddie Bär and the fearful Schaf Wolle. Together they make their way to the beavers that have built the dam. Socke is firmly convinced that they will help him to avert the disaster - but unfortunately this is not as easy as thought. Since his first appearance in 1996 in the picture book "Alles meins" by Nele Moost and Annet Rudolph, Rabe Socke so far appeared in 40 books of which over 5 million copies were sold. He has also appeared in 26 episodes of Sandmännchen.
