The worldwide success of the disco legend left a lasting mark. But who are the people behind the songs? And what does their success have to do with a recording studio in Offenbach?

The documentary features singers Liz Mitchell and Marcia Barrett, along with producer Frank Farian, and their friends and close companions. It paints a portrait of their rise at a time when the four Black performers were not treated fairly: sold-out tours and global fame were always accompanied by criticism and exoticisation.
