The jam sessions in the *"DOMICILE DU JAZZ,"* the future Frankfurt Jazzkeller, are legendary. The LICHTER Filmfest revives the vibrant atmosphere of the 50s and 60s once again with a concert. Following the film premiere of *CARLO, KEEP SWINGIN'*, the movie about the dazzling jazz trumpeter and founder of the underground club, Carlo Bohländer, former companions pick up their instruments to perform live: The New York singer *ANITA HONIS BOHLÄNDER* arrived in Frankfurt in 1964. At the Jazzkeller she met Carlo Bohländer and became his wife. In her jazz bar "Balalaika" in Sachsenhausen she continues to ‘kidnap’ the audience into the 60s with swinging standards. Distinctive is also the voice of *BILL RAMSEY*. The jazz singer and pop veteran has entered music history with number-one hits like “Pigalle” or “Souvenirs.” He is also known as the host of the radio programme Swingtime on hr2-kultur. Saxophonist and clarinetist GUSTL MAYER is one of the main protagonists of the film. He shared the stage with famous musicians such as *DUSKO GOYKOVICH, PAUL KUHN und EMIL MANGELSDORFF* in addition to BOHLÄNDER. The Frankfurt bassist *GÜNTER LENZ* was influenced significantly by Carlo Bohländer too. Since 1961, he is a member of the hr-Jazzensemble. In 2004 Lenz was awarded the Hessian Jazz Award.
