Die dunkle Seite des Mondes (The Dark Side of the Moon)
Straight, career-driven, and one of the best in his field: business lawyer Urs Blank can hardly escape success. A man who would stop at nothing for the ultimate experience. During the arrogant attempt to close a lucrative deal with the competition a scandal evolves. The infamous suicide of a negotiating partner turns the earlier negotiations upside down and faces Blank with the most difficult decision of his life. Is that really me? Criticism of the system arises and the process of self-discovery quickly picks up pace with the affair to the hippyesque Lucille. An excessive party with a fatal mushroom dish seals Blank’s fate, eventually. The psychoactive “magic mushrooms” have severe, psychological consequences. The top lawyer turns into a monster driven by instinct and an unpredictable murderer. On the search for antivenin the situation gets beyond control – and the system he once loved so much engulfs him in the abyss. How the film is connected with the local region? By perspective. No other film has made Frankfurt look so good like *_Die dunkle Seite des Mondes_* has. Even the Taunus view on Frankfurt is a real treat here.
