Quarterlife crisis hitting hard: Six friends roam through Berlin and, despite countless possibilities, seem to go nowhere. Instead, there is emptiness.  Övunç has writer's block. Raha waits for her breakthrough as actress. Her workwise successful ex-boyfriend Pascal yearns for a different life. Interpersonal conflicts or political discussions are being avoided. They rather seek the next bar, the next club, where everything revolves around themselves.

In Dreissig, Simona Kostova portrays a group of friends in their early thirties, who – between hedonistic nights full of parties and their fear of being alone – ask the existential question: how should, how can one live his/her live?

Dreissig is premiered at International Film Festival Rotterdam. In Simona Kostova´s debut, she roams the streets and bars of Berlin-Neukölln.
