Film & Media Meetup LIVE!
Would you like to network, but preferably live and in color?
The digital networking event Film & Media Meetup is going live:
On Friday, April 19, from 5:30 to 7:00 pm, you can get to know the regional film and creative scene in a relaxed atmosphere with free drinks and tasty snacks, talk to other filmmakers about projects, make contacts or simply hear what's currently going on.
The FILM & MEDIA MEETUP is the place to go for anyone who wants to get involved in film and media, as well as games and design - whether they are school pupils, students, graduates or anyone else who is interested. Admission, drinks and snacks are free!
The venue is the Massif Arts: Festival Center of the LICHTER Filmfest at Eschersheimer Landstraße 28 in Frankfurt.
The FILM & MEDIA MEETUP is funded by the Hessian Ministry of Economics, Energy, Transport, Housing and Rural Areas as part of the Hessian Innovation Promotion Program "Promotion of Cultural and Creative Industry Institutions". Another sponsor is MBF Filmtechnik.
Cooperation partners are the Lichter Filmfest Frankfurt International, Crew United, ZAV - Künstlervermittlung der Bundesagentur für Arbeit and the Kuratorium junger deutscher Film.
Contact persons from the sponsors and cooperation partners will be on site.
The Film & Media Meetup is scheduled before the Crew Call of Crew United, an established and popular event as a meeting point for regional film and media professionals of all trades.
Please register for the Meetup on Eventbrite by April 17, 2:00 pm.
Thanks to a cooperation with Crew United, all registrants will receive free admission to Crew United's Crew Call on Friday, April 19, starting at 7:00 pm - where selected project posters will decorate the event room.
Come join us!
The FILM & MEDIA MEETUP is a cooperation project of Filmhaus Frankfurt, Film- und Kinobüro Hessen, Hessen Film & Medien, hessische Film- und Medienakademie (hFMA) and Junge Generation Hessischer Film.

The Creative Industries Office is the central point of contact for advice, networking and support for the more than 127,000 people working in the cultural and creative industries in Hessen. Hessen Agentur acts as the approval authority for their funding programs. The Hessian Ministry of Economics, Energy, Transport, Housing and Rural Areas (HMWVW) is the main sponsor.
MBF Filmtechnik GmbH is the largest and most relevant distributor of professional camera, lighting and stage equipment for sophisticated film productions in Hesse and supports the project in the form of sponsorship.
In cooperation with:
Crew United connects all filmmakers in front of and behind the camera, production companies, service providers and agencies via their joint films and donates free entry to the Crew Call at the LICHTER Filmfest Frankfurt International in Frankfurt for all meetup participants.
The ZAV Artists Placement Service is a service facility of the Federal Employment Agency under the umbrella of the International Placement Services (ZAV). It places performing artists and applicants from artistic and technical professions related to the stage and camera who are primarily looking for dependent employment. The team of advisors from Cologne, which is responsible for the federal states of North Rhine-Westphalia and Hesse, supports the Meetup in an idealistic way.
The Kuratorium junger deutscher Film, based in Schloss Biebrich in Wiesbaden, was founded in 1965 as a result of the Oberhausen Manifesto and has been promoting "young film artists" ever since, taking on further responsibility in this area following the amendment of the German Film Subsidy Act. The Kuratorium junger deutscher Film supports the Meetup ideally.
The partner festival, LICHTER Filmfest Frankfurt International, offers its own offers and programme items for young filmmakers (e.g. short film programmes and competitions, specialist and discussion events for students and graduates, etc.) and supports the Meetup in terms of ideas and organization.
