FILM & MEDIA MEETUP 2026 – Join Hesse’s Talent Network

Join us! On Labor Day, we invite you to join us at the FILM & MEDIA MEETUP as part of the 6th “Future of German Film” Congress and the 19th LICHTER FILMFEST!

At this relaxed get-together, you’ll have the opportunity to exchange ideas with other film, media, and creative professionals, make valuable connections, or simply hear what’s currently happening in the industry and in the film region of Hesse.

Everyone interested in film and media is welcome, whether you’re just starting out or already have experience—here you’ll meet like-minded people, find inspiration, and have the chance to ask (other) professionals your questions. Our representatives will also be on-site and ready to listen to you.

The focus of the evening is on discussion and networking in a relaxed atmosphere; to ensure no one is left without a conversation partner, we’ll facilitate networking with our matchmaking services.

📌Afterwards: This year, the FILM & MEDIA MEETUP will once again transition into Crew United’s CrewCall in Frankfurt—registering for the MEETUP grants you free access!

Please send us an informal email by April 20 to meetup@film-hessen.de with answers to the following five questions (maximum 400 characters per answer; “Project Description” may be up to 800 characters):

- Project description
- What or who are you looking for for your project?
- Key facts and highlights of your project
- Visuals/movie poster/film stills (etc.)
- Additional information: Is there a link to your website, your social media channels, a trailer, etc.?

We’ll select the most exciting projects. You’ll receive your portfolio cards on-site at the MEETUP on May 1—at no cost to you.

The FILM & MEDIA MEETUP is a collaborative project of Filmhaus Frankfurt, the Film and Cinema Office of Hesse, the Hessian Film and Media Academy, and the Young Generation of Hessian Film. It is the central hub for anyone who wants to get involved in the film and media industry—whether students, graduates, or simply curious individuals.
