Junna Chif
Elizabeth is a sex worker with a mission: she wants to make her services accessible to people with disabilities. She had actually intended to give up sex work so she could focus entirely on her burlesque shows. But an encounter with Floyd, who lives with congenital joint stiffness, reignites her enthusiasm. Elizabeth throws herself wholeheartedly into her work and soon realises that her idea isn’t going to be welcomed everywhere. She remains determined. She wants everyone to understand: we marginalised people must stick together! But on both sides, there are prejudices that run deeper than expected.
For her research, Canadian director Junna Chif trained as a sexual care assistant for people with disabilities. A powerful and courageous feature film debut that puts the spotlight on people who are often forgotten or ignored. And a film that refuses to portray its protagonists as victims.

Junna Chif ist eine kanadische Drehbuchautorin und Regisseurin. Ohne jegliche Vorkenntnisse in der Branche erhielt sie ihren ersten Job in der Filmindustrie im Alter von 16 Jahren, nachdem sie alle Produktionsfirmen in Québec unaufgefordert angerufen hatte. Nach ihrem Abschluss an der Mel Hoppenheim School of Cinema arbeitete sie in der Werbebranche und drehte ihre Kurzfilme Il fait beau aujourd’hui (2013) und Mme Liliane (2016). Ihr Spielfilmdebüt Invisibles feierte seine Premiere beim Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival (PÖFF) 2026.
