That the Frankfurt Band Newmen is considered a white-hot export is also Martin Heimann’s doing. The Saasfee* Oblique resident-DJhas been a part of the ensemble around Joerg Schmidt, Timm Kroner, Joel Ameloot and Simon Raulandsince its founding in 2009 and has long been known for his legendary solo-gigs. Last year, his „Salto"-remix was responsible for electrical tunes from Frankfurt being increasingly known as hot goods in London with its musical affinity. Martin Heimann will bring a sample of his fine sound compositions for us on Festival-Thursday.
