_Praunheim Memories will be screened at the *Cantatesaal*_ _*Rosa von Praunheim will be present.*_ Rosa von Praunheim's Frankfurt roots are already reflected in his name. With _Praunheim Memoires_ he creates a very lively and entertaining cinematic monument dedicated to his origins. The film is at once the introduction to his life’s story and the artistic universe of the filmmaker, the social history of the city and an exciting look at its present state. Chronological narrative, associative strands of thought, fictional elements and interviews with well-known and lesser-known peers blend into each other. In it, many friends of LICHTER appear as well, such as Cyril Tuschi or Rotraut Pape. From the neighbourhood of Praunheim it moves to the Offenbacher Werkkunstschule (today Hochschule für Gestaltung), the Hessischer Rundfunk, to the Frankfurt Berg and into the center of the financial district. Praunheim Memories was made with the support of the Hessen Film Fund and celebrates its world premiere at LICHTER. Previous to the film screening the "Praunheimer Männerchor":http://maennerchor-praunheim.de/ will perform. a special highlight will be the performance of their specially for the film composed track "Praunheim" Afterwards the Band "Baby of Control":http://www.babyofcontrol.org/, who also plays part in the film, will perform live in the festivallounge VAU.
