In the presence of members of the chilean consulate: Miriam Chaves, Carolina Linares, Diana Barreto, Cónsul Francisco Mackenney and Gala Montero.
Chile in 1990: far-off the city, several artists, intellectuals and their families have retreated to a forest at the foothills of the Andes. They enjoy their newly found freedom. Their laissez-faire lifestyle allows the kids and teenagers to experiment and find their own ways. Through sun-soaked pictures we follow Sofia and Lucas, who face the joys and disappointments of growing up. In addition to her already overwhelming emotions, Sofia struggles with the solitude of the place. She would much rather live with her mother in the city. Although there also is the unknown neighbour who interests her – a lot. Among the preparations for New Year's Eve, it's the intense, impressive atmosphere the film creates in these soft, frustrating, loving moments that sends us right back to puberty.
