Una vita tranquilla
Claudio Cupellini
Germany as the subject of a foreign film is always a surprise. Suddenly everything looks so much more realistic at the crime scene. In „Una vita tranquilla“ Claudio Cuppellini tells the story of the owner of a fine Italian restaurant near Wiesbaden who is caught up by his mafia past. By means of an exiting and stereotype-free story of organised crime, we see a delicate portrait of a man who has to chose between his two identities. The Italian star Toni Servillo („Il Divo“, „Gomorrha“) was given the award of best actor for this part at the last festival in Rome.
