The young Neco dreams of living with his German girlfriend in Turkey, despite the fact that he has never been there. His father, on the other hand, left his childhood sweetheart behind and ever since, tries to forget his native country. Manager Bruno falls victim to a conspiracy and is pushed out of his own company. And pensioner Ingo breaks out of a nursing home, to finally get in touch with his daughter again. Around the Wilhelmplatz in Stuttgart these different men meet each other in amusing episodes. All are being confronted with their previous lives and the question of personal identity.
