Call for Entries - 17th LICHTER Filmfest Frankfurt International

LICHTER Filmfest Frankfurt International is looking for new film productions from Hesse and the Rhine-Main region for its 17th edition from April 16 to 21, 2023. From now on, feature-length and short films can be submitted until January 31, 2024. 

We are also looking for new productions for the 14th LICHTER Art Award as well as the 8th VR Storytelling Award. (Deadline: 31st January 2024)

The best works will be awarded with cash prizes and the "White Bembel", which has already been awarded in the past to emerging talents such as Peter Meister and Behrooz Karamizade or to established figures such as Rosa von Praunheim, Sung-Hyung Cho and Pia Marais.

Three juries will choose the winners during the festival and the awards will be handed out at the closing ceremony on April 21.
