Beloved by LICHTER audiences, now available to stream: "Frank Meyer" at dok@home
The audience favorite of the 17th LICHTER Filmfest Frankfurt International is now available to stream nationwide: "Frank Meyer" by Leonhard Hofmann and Riccardo Dejan Jurkovic is now available on the new curated streaming platform dok@home – a joint project in which LICHTER Filmfest is also involved.
The film celebrated its Hesse premiere at the 17th LICHTER Filmfest and won the audience award. It tells a story of masculinity, vulnerability, and the search for strength with great intimacy and empathy – over a period of ten years. The Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung called "Frank Meyer" a "moving portrait of a bodybuilder struggling with himself," while Die Welt praised its "painfully honest" narrative style.
dok@home is creating a new digital home for documentary films. Five renowned festivals – including the LICHTER Filmfest – are joining forces to give outstanding documentary films greater visibility. In addition to individual streams, the platform also offers film discussions that continue the festival spirit online.
"Frank Meyer" is now available at www.dok-at-home.de.
