Concert: Lilith Stangenberg & Brezel Göring & Psychoanalyse
Lilith Stangenberg is one of the most extraordinary actresses of her generation. Whether on stage or in films such as “Wild” and “Sterben” - she fascinates with radical intensity and emotional depth. However, the actress for extreme and beyond roles is not only known for her challenging roles, she is also a musician and singer.
Together with Brezel Göring (Stereo Total), she plays in the band Psychoanalyse - somewhere between nervous breakdown and ecstasy, they transform the LICHTER stage at MASSIF E into an alternating bath of melancholy and hysteria. Their lyrics are abysmal and controversial, their music oscillates between dark, melancholy nightmare music and angry punk. The delicate playing of Lilith's Hawaiian guitar and her fragile vocals, reminiscent of Velvet Underground singer Nico, also define the soundtrack of Kida Khodr Ramadan's film “Haltlos”, which was shown in cinemas last year.
At LICHTER this year, Stangenberg will not only be performing on the concert stage - she can also be seen in Hermann Vaske's journey of discovery into creativity “Creativo Paradiso”.
