A terraced house in Frankfurt, an Advent dinner, a family – that’s all Ein Abend im Dezember needs. What starts out as a festive dinner, quickly turns into a chamber play after a disturbing message. 

Hein has returned to his home island, only to find that nobody there recognizes him – he is a stranger. A village court would decide whether he is telling the truth. However, the returnee’s memories seem to differ dramatically from the villagers...

Anna has locked herself away in her apartment. Her new degree course, her partner, old friends – no one can lure her out of her isolation. Until some old, worn-out cassettes turn up in the moving boxes. Low-budget cinema at its best!
