Get Together for fearless film and festival makers

At a time when artistic freedom and freedom of expression are under pressure, the screening of a film can become explosive, depending on the location and audience.

During this casual get together, festival directors and filmmakers will discuss the limits of what can be shown and the power inherent in controlling what audiences are shown. When and why does a film screening become an artistic venture, a political act or even a legal risk? Do festivals have a responsibility to protect their audiences or should festivals forgo caution and let audiences run wild in the name of art?
