_*About long nights, drinks and music*_ Traditionally, at LICHTER each evening is celebrated, especially, of course, within the impressive atmosphere of the VAU. In 2014 again, we present a line-up that is known far beyond the borders of Frankfurt over the six days of the festival. The OhOhOhs are just one highlight in our brimful party and bar. When the Art Award celebrates its opening on _*TUESDAY, 25 March*_, the local and international art scene arrives at LICHTER. And when on top of that the latest film by Rosa von Praunheim celebrates its premiere at the festival, you can almost expect that the night will be long and colourful. And thus we start the festival on a musical level with ANDREAS DIEFENBACH on the turntables, an artist and graduate of the renowned Städelschule, and a LIVE PERFORMANCE by the colourful, garish band from Offenbach, "BABY OF CONTROL":http://www.babyofcontrol.org. It is cult and got tradition – that could be the motto of our official opening night. For the fourth time, Michael Dreher and Eva Schoner get us into a festival mood as the *DJ DUO SHONA TURNER* on _*WEDNESDAY, 26 March*_. For its mixture of danceable pop and electro beats, the prominent Frankfurters have been known and loved by the people of Frankfurt for a long time. On _*THURSDAY, 27 March*_, after a humorous chat with the caricatura museum and the Titanic, a proper LICHTER premiere awaits us. For the first time, we dare to hit the dance floor with wild rockabilly. In a skeleton line-up, with acoustic guitar, double bass and washboard, the well-coiffed guys not only present honest and fast music but also ensure high spirits. Afterwards, during the "BACK TO BACK," *SCHUBERT AND BRETTSCHNEIDER* go wild with their records.Whether the whole thing will degenerate into a battle behind the DJ deck remains to be seen. In any case, we are promised a long night of boogying. In Frankfurt, "THE OHOHOHS":http://www.theohohohs.de have long been local heroes. Hardly a party, hardly an event, during which Flo and Flo have not taken care of the ambience. Recently, together with writer Cia Torun, they created a sensation with the joint project “Motoren der Unschuld." At LICHTER, on FRIDAY, 28 March, a very special highlight awaits us. Because the handsome men will play at the festival centre VAU. For remainder of the night Nuri, who now excites the people of Frankfurt with Moroccan cuisine in the Picknickbank, serves danceable electro beats until the early hours of the morning. Even if we cannot reveal too much about _*SATURDAY, 29 March*_, at the moment and want to save one or the other surprise, we can promise that we will keep our own standard on this night as before.
