A few months ago we were looking for a remix for our still unreleased festival song "Lichter der Großstadt". Known so far only as a short version of our festival trailer.

Now the winning mix is released with the original song as a digital single. You can listen to it on all known streaming platforms! For example on Spotify or YouTube.

The remix does not come from the metropolises of this world, but from the birthplace of the Bauhaus! There in Weimar lives the artist Tommy Neuwirth, who has mixed our song under his pseudonym "Das weltweite Netzwerk für ein bedingungsloses Grundeinkommen" in the highest heights!

Our original song talks about the art of film with dignity and celebrates LICHTER with a wink and a long drawn-out "For 15 years". In passing, it refers to Charlie Chaplin's film "Lights of the Big City" and thus reveals why the LICHTER Filmfest is called what it is. It also contains what a good pop song always needs: a secret Franz Kafka quote. Of course, a bit of local colour should not be missing either: As a reverence to the Ultras of the Frankfurt Eintracht, the "U" is overemphasized with every "Frankfurt" in a scene-typical dissonant manner.
