Rosa struggles on all fronts: while her husband Dado, who often is out of town, can only think of the salvation of the Amazon, she takes care of the money, child education and the shared apartment in São Paulo. She has already sacrificed her lifelong dream as a theater author to a meaningless bread-and-butter job as an advertising editor. And quite naturally, she is at the ready when her sweet, nutty artist father gets into financial trouble. The last straw, however, is neither her professional frustration nor Dado's complaints about too little sex.
