Because their son was injured in a skiing accident, Lisa and Frans, who have been living apart for fifteen years, set off together to see him. The film follows the unlikely pair on their two-day trip from Brussels to the French Alps and back. Old memories and feelings re-emerge, the relationship and separation are called into question: Where are the partners standing to each other now? They meet each other with indifference, hatred and envy, but also with friendship and love. And what are the parents feelings towards their son and his new girlfriend? What makes a relationship? Marion Hansel tells the plot of this linear road movie with a lot of sensitivity, emotion and humour.
